It happened the instant that we ran through Firelands like a buzzsaw for the first time after the nerfs.

I'm hoping that it's just a phase. I already feel a little better. Writing this post was pretty cathartic, actually.

@Navimie: Yeah, this is definitely the reason things have been quiet around here lately. I really just didn't fell any writing mojo at all. Hopefully I'm back and will be able to churn out posts more regularly again. Not posting for almost a month is not something that I ever want to repeat.

@Zwingli: I've been playing around with a few lowbie alts but oddly didn't do anything with my Azuremyst Paladin. I'll have to spend a little time there in the future. He's at a great level and just about to head into the Eastern Plaguelands, which was a favourite zone before the Cataclysm and I haven't had a chance to do those quests since. I'm sure I'll see you there!

@Enlynn: Ummm. You're welcome? Do you Agree/Disagree/Murloc?

@Jamin: lol, metaphors certainly make for more interesting reading and writing. I am particularly proud of the descriptions of Rift and LOTRO. :)

@neowolf2: When put like that, ouch.

@Anonymous: Okay, that's a little creepy. You may want to consider increasing your dosage.Fannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17113088072985141570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4592230822295048656.post-71877153045308477722011-10-20T15:19:38.857-05:002011-10-20T15:19:38.857-05:00After 4 1/2 years I no longer feel the joy and hav...After 4 1/2 years I no longer feel the joy and have lost hope. No longer do I taste the food or drink I consume. No longer do I feel the coolness of the morning breeze nor the warmth on a sunny day. WoW was never committed to you, never returned your love at all. It was in it for your money all the time, nothing more. You've been a fool, in love with a harlot. You're the analogue of someone who frequented a brothel and imagined some lady there had feelings for you. She never did. Your attachment was just something she exploited.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4592230822295048656.post-29692375812295827032011-10-20T03:16:37.880-05:002011-10-20T03:16:37.880-05:00Really god post, enjoyed reading it.

Grats on Rag and as usual I admire your alt leveling though you feel like you are just churning through the game otherwise. Hope your Wow mojo comes back to what it used to be.Navimiehttp://frostwolves.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4592230822295048656.post-70008198475337145542011-10-19T14:54:28.761-05:002011-10-19T14:54:28.761-05:00Well said, sir. There have been times I could see myself walking away without any tears and others when I could hardly bear to think of life without WoW in it. I go through spells where I feel like I'm going through the motions, and I find it usually helps to have a project (i.e. alt), focus on something different about the game (playing Horde is that for me) or take a brief spell away and come back renewed.

I'm glad you got to see Rags down. I myself felt a smidge cheated when the week of the nerfs, Endy 2.0's raid team blew through FL's and smoked Rags after a few tries (we had been SO CLOSE the week before). But I imagine it hurts worse if you got to Rags for the first time after the nerfs and didn't even get the chance to try it as it was.

You'll find your groove again. I know it.Endymehttp://unholyrandomness.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
