It is also necessary to replenish Soul Shards pre-combat. (I have taken up my Tree druid after a hiatus and in LFD I always let any and all DPS languish at <50% HP if I have just been turned into a flower to regen some mana and they aren't eating while we are out of combat.)

I haven't tried paladin healing since Cata and the HoPower mechanic, but their utility is one of the reasons I stopped actually (!!) I play with a 2 button mouse, use Vuhdo, and didn't have enough key modifier combinations during WOTLK to play them as effectively as I'd like. Maybe when I get a 7 button mouse, but as it is I already use double modifiers like CRTL + ALT + Right click for things like battle rezzes. *grin*Glanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4592230822295048656.post-61835954159665681442011-07-08T17:34:47.238-05:002011-07-08T17:34:47.238-05:00Vlad, you and warlocks like you are my heroes. I use it myself after almost every trash pack in heroics.
My advice is, don't heal them!*vlad*noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4592230822295048656.post-67955162724790562862011-07-07T08:05:46.917-05:002011-07-07T08:05:46.917-05:00You mean you're not actually a Dwarf? I usually max this out as I'm judging every 10 secs on average, which means that the tank is getting healed for around 8000 per minute (.5*2500*6 rounded), plus the fact that the self healing saves me a GCD to use on someone else. The other advantage of maxing this is that it gives us +10 yds range on our judgements as well as spell hit - saving the need to add extra using the ret tree's improved judgements if you need to squeeze an extra point in somewhere else.
I find vuhdo especially handy for this - I enable hostile target frames and bind judgement to that, so I can always make sure that I'm hitting the right mob. If you judge in melee range it seems to start your autoattacks, which then proc seal if insight for more mana return )Jammannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4592230822295048656.post-63866291349941459952011-07-07T01:57:49.411-05:002011-07-07T01:57:49.411-05:00Jeez Fannon, I think you're mistaking me for s...Jeez Fannon, I think you're mistaking me for someone who knows about the current state of her class xD I'll give it a red hot go though!Angelyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16874823483699317334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4592230822295048656.post-43611927366098121132011-07-06T22:07:39.136-05:002011-07-06T22:07:39.136-05:00I love it when the Holy Pally community comes out ...I love it when the Holy Pally community comes out swinging and leading the way ... but Fannon, shhhhhhh, don't bandy about words like 'silly amounts of mana back', the devs might listen :DSoheihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18159602222579704106noreply@blogger.com
